About

Minnow Bathers is a Toronto based swimwear line conceived by Karen Donaldson and Vanessa Warrack, renowned for their signature bold prints and striking silhouettes. Minnow’s 2010 collection was inspired by adolescence: friends, summer, fun, first beers, first tokes, and first kisses. The collection features Minnow’s classic high waisted two pieces and 90’s cuts executed in grunge inspired prints. Each bather is lovingly handcrafted by Karen Donaldson and Vanessa Warrack.

Karen Donaldson acquired a Bachelor’s degree in Costume Studies at Dalhousie University and has honed her design and tailoring skills as an independent costumer. Bog Body is Donaldson’s solo series of replicated medieval hoods found in bogs across Northern Europe.

Vanessa Warrack studied Fashion Design at LaSalle College in Montreal. Warrack also designs a line of sexy vintage inspired lingerie, Bully Boy, acclaimed for high waisted, french cut panties and bras in ultra feminine cream and black lace.
